Disposable Razors

A modern gentleman knows “disposable” and “one-time use” are not synonymous.

BiC manufactures all manner of plastic goods. Its reliable ball-point pens and handy razors are among my favorites.

No man’s facial hair is so coarse as to dull a razor blade after a single shave — nor even a season of shaving. Properly dried and stored, disposable razors can be used for months before rust renders them unhygienic.

A few myths to debunk about this topic:

• A gentleman’s reuse of razors is less to increase savings than to decrease waste.
• Disposable razors are no more likely to cut a man’s face than their more expensive counterparts. It just seems so because, generally speaking, the men who use disposable razors are the newest to the art of shaving.
