Modern Gentlemen …
… invent things.
Easily bored, I find ways to occupy myself with the materials and abilities at my disposal. So far, I have developed:
- a method of knitting hats that requires minimal skill, meaning one need only know how to knit, purl and subtract stitches;
- a card game easy enough for my grandmother to learn but engaging enough for those of sound mind to play repeatedly — called “Old Fish,” it derives its rules and objectives from “Old Maid” and “Go Fish”;
- and a drinking game called “Love It/Hate It” where each player takes a turn naming a person, place or thing, after which the other players scream whether they “love it” or “hate it.”
