Acrimony

On a 4 p.m. BART train to Dublin/Pleasanton between stops at 24th Street-Mission and Embarcadero, I witnessed three instances of incredible rudeness Saturday, June 27.

Listen, teenage malcontent with a fishhook through her lower lip; pair of drunks carrying Solo cups; and dimwit boyfriend who ungraciously told his girlfriend to step aside:

you displayed some of the worst manners I have ever seen. I was appalled by your shameless exhibitions, disregarding their effects on those in your parties as well as on the dozens of strangers forced to bear witness to your horrific treatment of supposed loved ones.

There is no excuse for such unapologetic meanness. I hesitate to imagine what such behavior in public reveals of your souls, the darkest recesses of which even you display privately.
