A Slave to Time

A Slave to Time

Modern gentlemen rely not on cellular phones for their timekeeping needs, primarily because only jewel thieves and train conductors require synchronicity.

How derivative that an atomic clock somewhere determines the hour for everyone.

A proper gentleman buys a watch (it need not be a perfect device) and sets it within four minutes of the “actual” time, creating his own “gentleman’s time” and arriving neither early nor late but precisely when he intends.
